As you all know if you’ve been following my escapades in Dubai and beyond, I’ve just moved into a new apartment. Time for a new wardrobe to match, right?
Here are my current fashion faves.
My next trip (besides all of the potential weekend breaks I have planned) is to Sri Lanka, so I’ve been browsing the swimwear section for flattering bikinis. I choose this one.
2 Chi Chi London Bardot Midi Dress – £64.99
Navy dresses are so versatile and the prom style skirt and cute neckline make this a hit with me. Think summer nights, romantic up-dos and twirling for the camera…
3 Warehouse Cotton Cami Midi Dress – £45.00
How cute is this looks-like-denim number! I just bought an off the shoulder version, but I might have to buy this one too. Wear with all things tan and ride a bike with a woven basket for maximum effect.
4 Miss Selfridge Petite Lace Bust Bodysuit – £25.00
I struggle to find pretty but plain-ish tops to offset the loud prints and bright coloured skirts and pants I tend to stuff my wardrobe with, but Miss Selfridge always get it right. This lace one-piece lets your bottom half make a statement, without it looking like you’ve rocked up to drinks in your PJ vest in pictures. And bodysuits are super flattering.
5 Mirrored CoconutLane Sunglasses – £21.00
I may buy approximately one pair of SunnyGs per month, but when they’re this cool, who can resist? Oh – and FYI, you can get 20% off everything on CoconutLaneUK if you enter ‘dannielle20‘ at the checkout. Beware – you’ll want it all.
Guys, these are the ones. I’ve found them. Tan leather sandals are THE summer staple of dreams. Pair with the blue midi dress mentioned above.
I’ve always loved Fat Face as a brand, but felt that none of their stuff actually suited me. Enter this cute little kaftan.
8 Geox Jaysen Lace Up Trainers, Champagne – £95.00
I don’t wear trainers but if I did, they’d have to be champagne.
9 Star Mela Lovisa Blue & White Embroidered Dress – reduced to £57.50
Slip this Grecian blue and white coverup over your swimsuit for sundowners on holiday.
10 Waven Caaren Loose Burnt Orange Jumpsuit – £70.00
It takes a strong woman to pull of burnt orange but done right, its flawless. This jumpsuit should be approached with caution and a good heel.
I bought a textured white midi skirt JUST like this in h&m but it’s always sold out so if you have the pennies to spend, Reiss is your best bet.
12 Miss Selfridge Button Front Blue Jumpsuit – £42.00
Tall girls who tan easily, this is the one for you. Also, tell me your secrets.
13 Mango Ruffled Hem Top, Pastel Blue – £25.99
Wear with high waisted white jeans or a midi and enjoy effortless sophisticaiton.
14 Phase Eight Tessa Broderie Shorts, White – reduced to £33.15
I buy a pair of white broderie shorts every summer because I’m terrible at remembering to look before I sit down on things, and also terrible at washing whites. These are on my shopping list before this year’s holiday.
15 Somerset by Alice Temperley Embroidered Shorts, Blue & White – reduced to £29.50
I am so, so in love with these. Will they be transparent? Who cares. Need.
16 Nica Veronica Palm Print Tote Bag – reduced to £33.00
Palm print and cold cider in a British beer garden. They just go hand in hand, don’t they? Stick your suncream in this tote bag.
I LOVE a statement clutch, and this one will definitely stop people in their tracks with its bells and whistles.
18 Fenella Smith Flamingo and Pineapple Mug – £17.50
Don’t drink your Pimms out of anything else this summer.
19 Chanel handbag – erm, how much?
I spotted this pre-owned luxury bag on a website called Xupes and its been in my dreams ever since. If I ever win the lottery (or like, get promoted), this will be my treat to myself. Until then, however, I’ll keep dreaming.
Let me know if you snap any of this stuff up in the comments, and remember you can pin this post for payday!
